Informing the press on the afternoon of September 12, the Korea Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA Hanoi ) said that this agency had just successfully organized a direct trade event (1:1) between a business delegation in the Korean Free Trade Zone and Vietnamese importers at Novotel Thai Ha Hotel - Hanoi.

Accordingly, the event was attended by a delegation of 11 enterprises specializing in the production and supply of a wide range of products in various fields from consumer goods such as cosmetics, food, healthcare equipment to industrial equipment. Waste heat recovery incinerators, cement kilns, mobile tanks/silos, main equipment and maintenance services for hydroelectric/thermal power plants, wind power plants; equipment serving the construction industry; LED lighting have received much attention from Vietnamese partners.

More than 60 1:1 direct trade meetings have been successful and opened up many positive cooperation opportunities in the future.

At the event, Ms. Kwon Jong Hee – CEO of Yeomeong Lighting Co., Ltd. – specializing in manufacturing LED lighting equipment was very happy and recognized the potential of the Vietnamese market. At the trade program, this company met a number of suitable Vietnamese partners.

Mr. Lee Young Hwan, Director of Haneul Enterprise Company, specializing in design, installation, and provision of maintenance/repair services for power plants, happily expressed: "We have planned to enter the Vietnamese market since 2019. However, due to the Covid-19 epidemic, this time we went through KOTRA to access the market. We have met a number of Vietnamese enterprises that are interested and can cooperate in providing equipment/services as well as technology support in the near future" - Mr. Lee Young Hwan shared.
