The Politburo's Inspection Delegation worked with the Kon Tum Provincial Party Committee

On March 6, Inspection Delegation No. 1922 of the Politburo led by Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Tran Viet Truong, Deputy Head of the Standing Delegation, had a working session with the Party Committee of Kon Tum Provincial People's Committee on the implementation of Conclusion No. 123 of the Party Central Committee and the results of the implementation of Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo.

Working with the delegation were Mr. Le Ngoc Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Y Ngoc, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; members, members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee Party Committee; representatives of specialized agencies.

Reporting to the inspection delegation, the Provincial Party Committee said that the implementation and dissemination of Conclusion 123, dated January 24, 2025 on the Supplementary Project on socio-economic development (SEDP) in 2025 with the growth target of 8% or more was seriously and promptly carried out by the Provincial Party Standing Committee. Based on the GRDP growth results in 2024 and the targets of the Resolution of the 16th Provincial Party Congress, the province has set out the goals, tasks and solutions for socio-economic development in 2025 in Resolution No. 27, dated December 2, 2024 of the 16th Provincial Party Executive Committee on leading the implementation of socio-economic, national defense, security, Party building and political system tasks in 2025 and Resolution No. 89/NQ-HDND, dated December 9, 2024 of the Provincial People's Council on socio-economic directions and tasks in 2025, in which, striving for the growth rate of gross regional domestic product (GRDP) in the province in 2025, Kon Tum province reaches about over 10%.

Kon Tum province has established a working group of the Provincial Party Standing Committee to remove difficulties and problems related to projects in the province, striving to disburse 100% of the assigned capital plan. It has provided 1,585 full-process online public services, 1,663 partial online public services on the Provincial Administrative Procedure Information System; integrated 1,436/1,770 administrative centers of the province into the National Public Service Portal. Strictly implement the arrangement of the apparatus in the direction of "Sleek - Compact - Strong - Effective - Effective - Efficient" associated with restructuring and improving the quality of the staff and civil servants in the spirit of Resolution 18-NQ/TW.

Regarding the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo "On breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation", the Provincial Party Committee promptly issued a document on the implementation of the Program of the Provincial Party Standing Committee to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW; directed the establishment of a provincial-level Steering Committee for digital transformation.

Shared databases, industry databases, fields of population, health, education, resources, environment... are actively deployed. 4G mobile network covers villages and residential groups, 5G coverage is basically available in Kon Tum city. A provincial-level intelligent monitoring and operation center (IOC) has been built. A data integration and sharing platform (LGSP) connected to the national platform has been deployed. Specialized databases on population, land, enterprises... have been built.

At the meeting, the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee proposed that the Central Government supplement specific mechanisms for the Central Highlands region on digital transformation. Strengthen the direction of ministries and branches to support localities in developing science, technology, innovation and digital transformation; issue preferential tax and land policies for technology production and business enterprises.

At the same time, pay attention and consider the policy of implementing the investment project of Quang Ngai - Kon Tum expressway to create conditions for the development of the two localities; the policy of adding Mang Den Airport to the Master Plan for the development of the national airport system for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050. Support the training of information technology human resources; promptly supplement the central budget for 2025 to implement the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction and the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas so that localities have a basis for implementation...

Speaking at the working session, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Tran Viet Truong highly appreciated Kon Tum province in preparing the report according to the instructions of the Inspection Team as well as the leadership, direction and implementation results of the directives and resolutions of the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee. Vice Chairman Tran Viet Truong requested Kon Tum province to develop a project, implementation plan and organize the implementation to ensure progress according to the direction of the Secretariat and the Politburo.

Regarding the implementation of Conclusion No. 123, to achieve the growth target of 8% or more, Kon Tum province needs to have a clear plan and scenario for 2025, with inspection, supervision, and accompanying solutions. In addition, Kon Tum promotes the disbursement of public investment capital; promotes administrative procedure reform to attract investors and invest in the area; brings digital transformation and Resolution No. 57 into all areas of economic life; focuses on developing the forest economy, improving the quality of labor resources; focuses on developing the agricultural economy and tourism services...
