With a team of thousands of entrepreneurs accompanying the development of the province, Hung Yen today possesses a force of entrepreneurs who are brave, creative, daring to think and dare to do. Not only steering the business boat to overcome the storms of the business world, entrepreneurs are also the ones who inspire and affirm the aspirations of the land with a rich tradition of learning.
Stavian Chemical Joint Stock Company (Nhu Quynh Commune) from a small enterprise with a few dozen employees, thanks to sharp thinking and seizing business opportunities, Mr. Dinh Duc Thang, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Stavian Chemical Joint Stock Company has turned Stavian into a multi-industry corporation operating in more than 100 countries, especially prominent in the fields of chemicals, packaging and logistics.
Stavian currently has 525 employees, including nearly 300 female employees, with an average income of 9 - 12 million VND/person/month. All employees enjoy full insurance and extended benefits for the whole family as well as actively carry out social responsibilities. Since the beginning of 2024, the Stavian Charity Fund has supported nearly 500 million VND for union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
Mr. Dinh Duc Thang, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company, is a typical businessman, honored many times with noble awards such as Red Star Entrepreneur 2022, excellent Asian entrepreneur, contributing to spreading the image of Hung Yen entrepreneurs with courage, intelligence, and international integration. Mr. Thang shared: "I always keep in mind that a business that wants to develop sustainably must take people as the root. Only when employees are happy can the business be stable in the market."
Not only caring about the lives of workers, Mr. Thang also affirmed the stature of Hung Yen businessmen in the international arena. In 2024, Stavian achieved many proud achievements in the regional and world markets when it ranked 7th in the Top 100 largest chemical distributors in the Asia - Pacific region. In the domestic market, it rose to 21st in the Top 500 largest private enterprises in Vietnam.
With the strategy of greening production and sustainable development, Stavian is currently expanding the project to build a bioplastic factory, contributing to realizing the country's green growth goal. With the prestige of the enterprise and contributions to the development of the business community inside and outside the province, in September 2025, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Red Star Entrepreneurs Association elected Mr. Dinh Duc Thang to hold the position of Vice President of the Vietnam Red Star Entrepreneurs Association.
If Mr. Thang is a brave businessman in the industrial sector with a strong position in the field of logistics, Ms. Phan Thi Cham, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Bao Hung International Joint Stock Company (Tan Thuan Commune) is a model of a Vietnamese businesswoman in the integration period. With more than 30 years of establishment and development, Ms. Cham has turned the Omeli confectionery brand into the pride of Hung Yen and Vietnam. By investing in modern technology lines from Europe, applying the ISO 22000 and HACCP quality management systems, Bao Hung's products have met export standards to "difficult" markets such as the US, Korea, and Japan.
Currently, the company has nearly 200 products, annual revenue of approximately 1,000 billion VND, exported to more than 20 countries. Not only good at business, Ms. Phan Thi Cham is also known as a compassionate entrepreneur. Over the years, Bao Hung has contributed tens of billions of VND to charity activities, supporting people in flood-affected areas, building charity houses, and awarding scholarships to poor students. She once shared: Enterprises not only have the mission of economic development but also must be associated with social responsibility. I always want to spread the spirit of sharing, so that the Omeli brand is not only sweet on the dining table but also warm in the hearts of the community.
The success of entrepreneurs such as Mr. Dinh Duc Thang or Ms. Phan Thi Cham has contributed to affirming Hung Yen's position as a bright spot in the investment attraction map of the Red River Delta. Not only are there typical entrepreneurs leading businesses to go far, but the Hung Yen business community through the Provincial Business Association is also affirming its role of solidarity, companionship, and together creating a dynamic and modern business environment. Up to now, after merging the two provinces of Hung Yen and Thai Binh, the Association has over 4,000 members, becoming a common home for the business community in the province. The Association regularly organizes conferences to update policies, training courses to improve management capacity, build brands and orient sustainable development for businesses.
At the same time, many domestic and international trade promotion programs have been implemented, helping Hung Yen businessmen expand connections, seek markets, and improve competitiveness. At the same time, the Association always encourages members to fulfill social responsibilities, support charity, social security, and poverty reduction programs... Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Ha, Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Business Association, emphasized: The Association always considers businessmen as the center and driving force for business development. We organize many training, exchange, and trade promotion activities to help Hung Yen businessmen improve their management capacity, international integration, and sustainable development.
With their aspirations, intelligence and spirit of innovation and creativity, today's Hung Yen business community deserves to be honored as "new era soldiers" on the economic front, contributing to the increasingly strong and sustainable development of the industrialization and modernization of the homeland.
