Dialogue and resolution of questions about insurance policies

This morning, April 17, the Provincial Social Insurance (SSI) coordinated with the Customer Care and Support Service Center, Vietnam Social Insurance to organize a conference to dialogue, advise, support, and answer questions of employees and employers about social insurance, health insurance (HI), and unemployment insurance (UI).

The conference was held to promptly support, answer and advise employees and employers on difficulties and problems in the process of participating in and enjoying social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance policies.

At the same time, through dialogue, Vietnam Social Security hopes to receive opinions and feedback from employees and employers about difficulties in the implementation of social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance policies to continue improving service quality, for the satisfaction of insurance policy participants.

At the conference, the provincial Social Insurance reporters introduced the social insurance regime effective from 2022 and 2023 and new points in the draft Law on Social Insurance amending and supplementing a number of contents on unemployment insurance policy. Rights and responsibilities of enterprises towards employees, some new points in the collection and payment of social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance; the superiority of social insurance policy, benefits of participation and risks of non-participation.

Delegates attending the conference raised difficulties and proposed that Vietnam Social Security, provincial Social Security and relevant departments and branches provide specific guidance on documents and procedures to resolve sickness, maternity, work accident, occupational disease, unemployment benefits, one-time withdrawal of social insurance for employees with serious illnesses; proposed to increase maternity leave for female employees; improve the quality of health insurance examination and treatment; difficulties in medical examination and treatment with citizen identification cards, installing VssID application...

Questions and concerns were answered fully and promptly by the Organizing Committee, thereby helping employers and employees better understand the regulations on social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance policies, and share with the social insurance industry in implementing the policies.
