The Vietnam women's volleyball team was provided with accommodation according to the standards by the Organizing Committee and was scheduled to practice at the gymnasium. Currently, the health of the coaching staff and 13 female players is good.

According to the recorded video, when the team arrived at the hotel, they were welcomed with traditional Thai music , given flower necklaces and had their photos taken by the organizers. The teams of Poland, Germany and Kenya, who were in the same group with Vietnam, also arrived in Thailand today.

This is the first time the Vietnamese women's team has participated in a top sporting event. Among the 13-player squad, Bich Tuyen was absent due to withdrawing before the tournament.

At this year’s tournament, the Vietnamese team will face big challenges right from the group stage when meeting strong opponents such as Poland (ranked 3rd in the world), Germany (ranked 11th), and Kenya (ranked 23rd). The matches of the Vietnamese women’s volleyball team will be held at Phuket Municipal Stadium.

The 2025 Women’s Volleyball World Championship will officially kick off on August 18 and last until September 7 in Phuket, Thailand. This is a great opportunity for the Vietnamese team to assert its position and strive to rise in the international arena.
