According to her estimates, the outcome of modern conflicts will be decided by the capabilities of the defense-industrial complexes of the belligerents.

Recently, US Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs Celeste Wallander noted that the Russian defense industry is demonstrating high production rates.

“ The Russian economy has not collapsed and the defense industry is producing again, perhaps not at Soviet levels, but certainly enough to support the restoration of Russian capabilities on the European battlefield ,” Ms. Wallander said, adding that the Russian military is “learning and adapting” to the evolving situation in Ukraine.

Billionaire Musk makes new statement on conflict in Ukraine

American businessman Elon Musk drew attention to news on social network X about the possibility of sending South Korean troops to Ukraine.

“ The situation appears to be escalating ,” Mr. Musk wrote.

South Korea is considering sending a team of experts to Ukraine to “monitor the North Korean military,” which according to unconfirmed reports has been sent to the Ukrainian conflict zone, Yonhap news agency reported, citing government sources earlier.

However, North Korea's representative to the United Nations has rejected the allegations, calling them "groundless rumors", while asserting that relations with Moscow are "legitimate and cooperative".

This is the first public comment from a North Korean official since South Korea's spy agency said last week that North Korea had decided to send about 12,000 troops to fight in Russia's war in Ukraine and had dispatched 1,500 troops to Vladivostok for adaptation training.
