Launching 2 social housing projects with nearly 3,300 apartments in Phuoc An commune

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Dau Van Dien, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hanoi Construction Corporation - JSC said: Developing social housing is one of the major policies of the Party and Government, aiming to ensure social security, improve the lives of workers and low-income laborers. Dong Nai is an industrial province with millions of workers, with urgent housing needs, therefore, the implementation of social housing projects is of special importance.

This time, the corporation simultaneously deployed 2 projects in Phuoc An commune, Dong Nai province. The first project is a social housing apartment complex on a 3.7ha land plot, with a scale of nearly 1,500 apartments, serving about 6,000 people, with full facilities such as kindergarten, playground, parking lot and green tree system. The total investment is more than 1,200 billion VND, expected to be completed in 30 months.

The second project is a social housing apartment complex on a 2.1ha land plot, with a scale of about 1.8 apartments, providing accommodation for about 2.8 thousand people, with synchronous infrastructure such as: community living area, green trees, parking lot. The total investment is more than 1 trillion VND, completion time within 30 months.

According to Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hanoi Construction Corporation - JSC Dau Van Dien, both projects are oriented to become model social housing areas in Dong Nai with the criteria of "reasonable price - good quality - synchronous infrastructure". The projects not only contribute to solving the housing needs of workers and laborers but also create tens of thousands of working days and stable jobs for the construction industry's workforce and many other supporting industries.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony of these two projects, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha emphasized: Developing social housing, especially housing for workers and low-income laborers, is a major and consistent policy of the Party and State, deeply demonstrating the humanity of the political system towards the people. Thoroughly grasping that spirit, Dong Nai province always identifies this as one of the key and important political tasks in the province's socio-economic development plan.

In addition to these two projects, the province is simultaneously holding launching ceremonies for other social housing projects. This is a clear demonstration of the high political determination of Dong Nai province, along with the cooperation and support of the business community, in realizing the goal of taking care of social security and improving people's lives.

The Provincial People's Committee leaders requested the investor and the joint venture to speed up the implementation of procedures on construction investment, environment, fire prevention and fighting to organize the construction commencement in October 2025. Pay special attention to the design quality, ensuring that the works not only meet technical standards but also harmonize in aesthetics and are friendly to the living environment. Focus maximum resources, human resources, and equipment to organize scientific and safe construction, ensuring technical and aesthetic quality and on schedule as committed.

Along with that, the provincial departments, branches and sectors and the Phuoc An commune government proactively coordinate, monitor and promptly remove arising problems, creating the most favorable conditions for the projects to be completed soon.

Deputy Minister of Construction Bui Xuan Dung highly appreciated Dong Nai province for its attention to developing social housing projects in the area. At the same time, he requested the government to pay attention and resolve difficulties so that the projects launched today can start construction soon, be constructed, and be completed smoothly according to plan. Continue to review the planning of land allocation in favorable locations, in areas with high demand for social housing.

The Deputy Minister especially noted: Investors prioritize resources, direct and supervise contractors to implement construction to ensure quality and progress. In addition, quality social housing such as commercial housing, social housing development must be accompanied by technical infrastructure and social infrastructure to ensure the essential needs of the people.
