According to the Political Report presented by Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee Ta Anh Tuan at the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, in the past 5 years, despite facing many difficulties and challenges, the Party Committee, government, army and people of all ethnic groups in the province have promoted the tradition of solidarity, strived and achieved important achievements in all fields.

During the 2020-2025 term, the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee achieved many outstanding results. The work of building the Party and the political system was focused on, with many clear changes. Political, ideological and ethical work was strengthened; the protection of the Party's ideological foundation, the fight against wrong views, and the orientation of public opinion were implemented synchronously and promptly. The apparatus of the political system was streamlined, operating effectively and efficiently. The work of cadres, inspection, supervision, and the prevention of corruption and negativity was promoted.

The province's economy maintains a fairly good growth rate. The average GRDP growth rate in the 2020-2025 period is about 6.24%/year. The total GRDP in 5 years reached more than 9 trillion VND, an average increase of 11.8%/year. The economic structure has shifted positively; traffic infrastructure has gradually synchronized; services, trade, and tourism have developed; collective and cooperative economies have changed positively. Foreign economic activities and regional linkages have been expanded, creating a legal corridor to exploit the potential and advantages of the locality.

Science , technology and digital transformation are promoted and deployed synchronously on three pillars: Digital government, digital economy, digital society; administrative reform has achieved many positive results, 100% of qualified administrative procedures have been provided online.

In the cultural and social fields, education and training have been innovated, and quality has been gradually improved. The work of preserving and promoting cultural and historical values ​​has been focused on; cultural, artistic, physical training and sports movements have developed. The grassroots health system has continued to be consolidated; health insurance coverage has increased; social security, poverty reduction and employment policies have been effectively implemented.

National defense and security are maintained; national defense and people's security posture are consolidated. Foreign affairs maintain and expand cooperation with many localities at home and abroad.

In particular, the province has completed the merger of administrative units and from July 1, 2025 officially operated the two-level local government model, marking a breakthrough in reforming the organizational apparatus, shifting from management to serving the people.

Besides achievements, the report also pointed out some limitations: Economic growth rate is not commensurate with potential; infrastructure of industrial zones and clusters is still lacking; tourism, education, science and technology development is not commensurate; the poverty rate, especially among ethnic minorities, is still high; security and order situation is sometimes complicated.

The political report presented to the 1st Provincial Party Congress set out 8 key tasks for the 2025-2030 term: First, strengthening the building and rectification of the Party and the political system to be clean and strong in all aspects; improving the leadership, governing capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization, the effectiveness of State management; promoting democracy, consolidating the great national unity bloc.

Second, promote economic restructuring associated with growth model innovation, develop ecological agriculture, high technology associated with processing industry; promote renewable energy industry, services, tourism, logistics, e-commerce; build key products with national and international brands.

Third, promote strong development of the private economy, becoming an important driving force of the economy; comprehensive administrative reform associated with digital transformation, creating a favorable environment for people and businesses.

Fifth, train, foster and effectively use high-quality human resources, associated with the development of key industries; promote the application and transfer of science and technology, and innovation in production and management.

Sixth, build Dak Lak's people and culture to develop comprehensively, raise community awareness of environmental protection, biodiversity conservation and cultural and historical values.

Seventh, consolidate and strengthen national defense and security potential, build a "people's heart position" associated with all-people national defense and people's security; link socio-economic development and foreign affairs with ensuring security and national defense.

Eighth, promote the role of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations, care for and protect the legitimate rights and interests of the people; improve the quality of supervision, social criticism, and contribute ideas to building the Party and State.
