Permanent Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office Le Quang Manh happily welcomed General Secretary of the National Assembly of the People's Government, General Secretary of the Council of State of Cuba Homero Acosta Alvarez to visit and work in Vietnam; affirming that the special, loyal, pure and rare friendship between Vietnam and Cuba is developing very well in all fields.
The Permanent Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office emphasized that the delegation's visit this time is a vivid manifestation of the special solidarity between Vietnam and Cuba in general and the two countries' National Assemblies in particular.
Secretary General of the National Assembly of the People's Government, Secretary General of the Council of State of Cuba Homero Acosta Alvarez thanked Permanent Deputy Head of the Office of the National Assembly Le Quang Manh for taking the time to meet him; stating that the meeting was particularly meaningful in continuing to concretize the Agreement between the two advisory and support agencies for the National Assemblies of the two countries that had been signed, contributing to the substantive implementation of the High-level Agreement between the National Assemblies of the two countries.
At the meeting, Permanent Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office Le Quang Manh and Secretary General of the National Assembly of the People's Government, Secretary General of the Cuban State Council Homero Acosta Alvarez agreed that in recent years, the Vietnam - Cuba relationship in general and the relationship between the two countries' National Assemblies in particular have developed very well with many delegation exchanges of high-ranking leaders and many experience exchange activities through direct and online meetings, especially the first meeting of the Vietnam - Cuba Inter-Parliamentary Committee in Cuba and the second in Vietnam.
Sharing some contents related to the organizational structure, functions and tasks of the Office of the National Assembly of Vietnam after streamlining and rearranging, especially the digital transformation work, Permanent Deputy Head of the Office of the National Assembly Le Quang Manh stated that currently the Office of the National Assembly has coordinated with the Military Industry - Telecommunications Group to pilot a number of digital applications and platforms at the National Assembly and the Office of the National Assembly, contributing to improving the operational efficiency of the National Assembly, the agencies of the National Assembly and the Office of the National Assembly.
These include digital applications and platforms, such as the electronic document management and administration software system; the application software system providing information on smart mobile devices (National Assembly App 2.0); the professional software system for removing audio recordings; the paperless meeting room system (Q-Cabinet)...
Regarding the online meeting system, the Permanent Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office said that recently, the Vietnamese National Assembly presented the Cuban National Assembly with an online meeting system connecting the headquarters of the Cuban National Assembly with 16 localities; emphasizing that this is a fast and convenient communication channel to share experiences and cooperate for mutual development between the Vietnamese and Cuban National Assemblies as well as the supporting agencies of the two National Assemblies.
Secretary General of the National Assembly of People's Power, Secretary General of the Council of State of Cuba Homero Acosta Alvarez thanked the experiences shared by Permanent Deputy Head of the Office of the National Assembly Le Quang Manh; emphasizing that this is a practical action demonstrating respect for the traditional relations and friendship between Cuba and Vietnam in general, and the two countries' National Assemblies in particular.

At the same time, the reception of delegations of leaders of the National Assembly and agencies of the National Assembly to visit and work in each country must be thoughtful and effective.
The two sides believe that the traditional friendship between Vietnam and Cuba and the two countries' National Assemblies will become increasingly deeper and more practical in the coming time.
