Dong Nai builds digital government version 4.0

DNVN - With the aim of upgrading and replacing the e-government architecture of Dong Nai province version 2.0, ensuring consistency with the content of the Vietnam Digital Government architecture version 4.0, the Department of Science and Technology of Dong Nai province has just issued Decision No. 85/QD-SKHCN approving the outline for building the digital government architecture of Dong Nai province, version 4.0.

Objectives and implementation time

The construction of the digital government architecture, version 4.0, of Dong Nai province is assigned to the Department of Science and Technology of Dong Nai province as the investor and will be implemented in 2025. The purpose is to comprehensively improve the existing e-government system, in accordance with the Vietnam Digital Government architecture version 4.0.

Architectural components and implementation scope

Dong Nai province's digital government will include many important components such as business architecture, data architecture, application architecture, technology architecture, network information security architecture and network security.

Digital government architecture will be applied in the Provincial People's Council (PC); Provincial People's Committee (PC) and affiliated specialized agencies (departments and agencies equivalent to departments); People's Councils and People's Committees at the commune level according to regulations.

In addition, organizations and individuals involved in the application of information technology in the province's activities are also within the scope of the new digital government application. Other agencies and organizations can also refer to it for implementation.

Differences in digital government version 4.0

To build the digital government architecture version 4.0, Dong Nai focuses on upgrading the business architecture, application architecture, data architecture and technology architecture. In addition, it is necessary to upgrade, complete and optimize the technology architecture model to serve the deployment of the province's information systems. The network information security and network security architecture will be upgraded based on the assessment and proposal of security levels for information systems.

In version 4.0, the digital government architecture will be supplemented with an electronic identification and authentication platform and connected to the National Data Center, citizen data warehouse and aggregated data warehouse from national databases.

In terms of content, the new version of digital government will be updated and supplemented with a number of newly issued and valid legal documents to the reference models accordingly.

The successful implementation of this project will be an important step forward, helping Dong Nai complete digital infrastructure, enhance the operational efficiency of state agencies and improve the quality of service to people and businesses in the digital age.
