Tourists explore Saigon with a free walking tour

According to the representative of BenThanh Tourist - the unit that launched this tourism product, the free walking tour is designed with the desire to introduce to Vietnamese and international tourists the unique historical and cultural values ​​and typical architectural works of Ho Chi Minh City.

Free Walking Tour is held from 9:30 am to 1 pm daily, for all Vietnamese and foreign tourists who wish to explore Ho Chi Minh City with every step.

With this tour, the tour guide will pick up guests at the departure point, BenThanh Tourist Center (No. 3 - 5 Nguyen Hue, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City) and begin the journey of discovery through famous attractions such as: Nguyen Hue walking street; Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee headquarters; Ho Chi Minh City Symphony - Music and Ballet Theater;

City Post Office ; Reunification Palace historical site and end with a free lunch with many delicious specialties at Ben Thanh market.

Throughout the tour, BenThanh Tourist guides will bring visitors an unforgettable trip, where every step reveals something new and every alleyway contains unique and interesting stories.

In 2017, the Free Walking Tours project - a free tourism model was also launched by Vietravel for the first time, helping tourists "slow down" to be able to see, feel and experience the life of the people in a "local" style on every route they pass.

Tourists register for tours every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and tour guides guide them to participate in specific activities such as going to the market, learning about street food, shopping... and listening to historical and cultural stories.

After a hiatus, the company relaunched Free Walking Tours last year with a variety of products.

Vietravel representative said that the tour is still being maintained, domestic and foreign tourists can register via the business hotline or representative offices in localities.
