Previously, on the evening of February 6 (January 9), the People's Committee of Cao Loc district held the opening ceremony of Dong Dang Festival, the opening of Dong Dang walking street in 2025 and the ceremony to receive the national relic ranking certificate for the Dong Dang Citadel historical relic.

Dong Dang Festival was chosen as the model festival of Cao Loc district in 2025. The festival is held on the 10th of January every year, associated with the Dong Dang Mother Temple relic, where religious and spiritual activities take place to pray for luck, peace and prosperity.

Dong Dang Fortress was built by the French colonialists in 1940. The fortress has 3 floors, 60m wide and 100m long. The fortress was designed intricately. In 2002, Dong Dang Fortress was ranked as a provincial relic.
