The 30th An Giang Television Cup Bay Nui Bull Racing Festival is expected to open on September 20.

On the afternoon of August 27, the People's Committee of Tri Ton commune held a meeting to deploy the plan to assign tasks to organize the 30th Bay Nui Bull Racing Festival for the An Giang Television Cup (ATV) in 2025.

The Bay Nui bull racing festival opened and competed on September 20, at the bull racing ground in Tri Ton commune (Ta Pa - Soai Chek Sports - Tourism Complex).

The tournament had 64 pairs of oxen from 7 communes and wards in An Giang province participating, including the communes: Tri Ton, Ba Chuc, O Lam, Vinh Gia, Co To, An Cu, Nui Cam, Giang Thanh, 2 wards of Chi Lang and Tinh Bien.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of Tri Ton Commune People's Committee Tran Van Cuong requested relevant departments, branches, organizations and units to prepare well for the organization according to their functions and tasks, ensuring the festival takes place safely and effectively; promote communication work, build a reasonable award structure. The Bay Nui Ox Racing Festival for the An Giang Television Cup is an annual traditional festival of the Khmer people in the Bay Nui region on the occasion of the Sene Don Ta festival. Thereby, preserving and promoting the unique traditional cultural values ​​of the Khmer people in the Bay Nui region.

At the same time, promote the image of tourism, culture and people of An Giang to domestic and foreign tourists, contributing to the development of tourism in Tri Ton commune.
