During her trip to Vietnam to attend the announcement of Miss Earth Vietnam 2023 as an ambassador of the contest, the reigning Miss Earth 2022 - Mina Sue Choi - participated in many environmental activities.
Most recently, the Korean beauty, along with Miss Earth Vietnam 2023 President Truong Ngoc Anh and the contest's ambassadors, went to the Cultural and Natural Reserve in Dong Nai to survey and plant the first seedlings for the forest named "Miss Earth".

Truong Ngoc Anh said that planting forests is a specific action of the Miss Earth Vietnam contest, aiming to promote love of nature, spreading love for trees in Vietnam to all contestants of the contest and the audience.
Sharing with Dan Tri reporter, the President of Miss Earth Vietnam 2023 said that with the message "Me love tree", the Organizing Committee plans to cover 1.5 hectares of land with trees each year and forests named "Miss Earth" will be present everywhere in Vietnam.
Talking about the reigning Miss Earth Mina Sue Choi, Truong Ngoc Anh commented that she is an enthusiastic person who loves nature. When hearing about the plan to plant forests in Vietnam, Mina Sue Choi was extremely excited.
"Mina Sue Choi and the Organizing Committee of Miss Earth Vietnam 2023 planted the first seedlings of the forest. In the near future, contestants of the Miss Earth Vietnam 2023 contest will go there to plant trees and planting trees is also the mission of future Miss Earth Vietnams," said Truong Ngoc Anh.

According to the President of Miss Earth Vietnam 2023, planting forests named "Miss Earth" is a long and arduous journey. However, the Organizing Committee believes that everything will come true.
In addition, during the trip, Miss Earth 2022 and Miss Earth Vietnam 2023 delegates also visited the Central Southern Region Historical Site, explored the tropical forest here as well as visited the famous giant kơ-nia tree.

Miss Earth Vietnam 2023 began its recruitment plan on July 19. This year, the contest requires contestants to be between 18 and 27 years old, Vietnamese citizens, 1.63m or taller, have graduated from high school, have never been married, have never had children, and have not undergone gender reassignment.
