Since the beginning of the year, despite many difficulties, authorities at all levels, units and enterprises in the province have focused on resolving them, maintaining stable production, and creating jobs for workers. According to the report of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, the number of employed workers has increased by nearly 11,000 people (reaching 64.5% of the yearly plan and equal to 110.7% compared to the same period in 2023); 162 projects have been lent from the National Employment Fund, creating jobs, maintaining and expanding jobs for 178 workers, with loan turnover reaching 9 billion VND. The rate of workers receiving vocational training and vocational training reached 71.5%; the rate of trained workers with degrees and certificates reached over 30%.

In the first 6 months of 2024, the business operations of enterprises in the province were relatively stable, the production and business activities of enterprises did not have many fluctuations, the scale was increasingly expanded, developed, creating large revenue and export value. Some FDI enterprises in the fields of electronics, electronic components processing, connecting cables... had a large demand for labor recruitment such as: BYD Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd., Vietnam Future Innovation Co., Ltd., YIDA Co., Ltd. The demand for labor recruitment was mainly to serve the expansion of production lines, increase product output and a few additional due to old employees quitting, on the other hand, newly established enterprises had a need to recruit labor.
Through survey and understanding the situation in the province, the recruitment needs of enterprises in the first 6 months of the year are about 7,000 workers, mainly enterprises operating in the fields of electronics and garment.
It is expected that by the end of 2024, businesses in the area will recruit about 10,000-12,000 more workers. The Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs will coordinate with relevant units to strengthen the connection of labor market information, improve the efficiency of job exchanges with more diverse and abundant numbers and forms of organization.
Organized counseling for 22,850 people, introduced domestic jobs to 2,359 people, coordinated with the Provincial Police and Provincial Youth Union to organize career counseling programs, introduced jobs to 186 union members and young people who are non-commissioned officers and conscripts who will finish their service in the People's Public Security in 2023.
In addition, the province also strengthens the introduction and facilitation of units and enterprises that need to recruit workers to work in industrial parks inside and outside the province and to recruit workers to work abroad under contracts... to districts and cities for consultation and recruitment. Promote the development of the labor market, the labor market information system, and forecasting labor supply and demand.
Strengthening information and propaganda work on loan programs for working abroad under contracts, loans to support job creation, and announcing labor recruitment information of enterprises inside and outside the province. Up to now, 1,431 people have been exported, reaching 57.24% of the yearly plan (equal to 107% compared to the same period).
In the coming time, the province will continue to support workers in finding jobs, increasing income, improving their lives, and enhancing job transactions in many forms such as: Online job exchanges, job sessions, job fairs, consulting and propaganda conferences... in communes and district centers so that people can promptly access vocational training units and labor recruiting enterprises.
Pay attention to vocational education in connection with labor market needs. Promote communication on employment and labor export in the mass media; increase the provision of information on the current labor market situation; forecast labor market development trends and human resource needs in various industries.
Closely coordinate with vocational training institutions and general schools to improve the capacity, quality and effectiveness of counseling, career guidance and vocational training, linking training activities of vocational training institutions with the labor resource needs of enterprises...
