EVNHANOI has received an official dispatch from the Hanoi Department of Education and Training regarding the electricity supply for the 10th grade entrance exam of high schools in the area, 2023 - 2024. 10th grade entrance exam sites in Hanoi will be guaranteed uninterrupted power supply.
Specifically, EVNHANOI will provide stable and continuous power at exam-related locations as required by the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, including: the headquarters of the Ministry of Education and Training; the headquarters of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training; locations serving the exam council; the exam marking and grading committee; locations serving the printing and copying of exam papers; exam review...
In addition, EVNHANOI has also developed a plan to supply electricity with 2 grid sources or have a backup plan with generators, combined with checking the power lines and transformer stations supplying electricity to the exam locations; if there are any problems that do not meet operational requirements, they need to be repaired and fixed immediately.
EVNHANOI said it will not cut power on the high, medium, and low voltage grids throughout the city during the exam preparation period and entrance exam for grade 10 of high schools in the 2023-2024 school year, from June 9 to 13.
This year, Hanoi has about 116,000 candidates registering for the 10th grade entrance exam (both specialized and non-specialized). Hanoi arranged 201 exam sites, mobilized 20,000 officers and teachers to invigilate and grade exams, more than 1,000 police officers and soldiers to protect the exam area and more than 500 officers to inspect and check all stages of the exam.
