On the morning of March 2, Hau Loc district organized the launching ceremony of "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho", Olympic Running Day "For the health of all people", the 29th Hau Loc District Cross Country Race - 2025.

This is a sports activity to celebrate the Party - celebrate Spring, welcome the announcement ceremony of the decision to recognize Hau Loc district as meeting new rural standards; celebrate the 85th anniversary of the founding of Hau Loc District Party Committee (March 12, 1940 - March 12, 2025); celebrate the 63rd anniversary of the first issue of Thanh Hoa Newspaper (March 20, 1962 - March 20, 2025); 94th anniversary of the founding of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2025); 79th anniversary of the founding of the Sports and Physical Training sector (March 27, 1946 - March 27, 2025); create an exciting atmosphere in the new year of At Ty, meeting the needs of sports training to improve health for all classes of people. At the same time, it is the basis for the district to continue developing the sports movement, thereby having good preparation to participate and strive for high achievements in provincial sports competitions in 2025, towards the 10th Thanh Hoa Provincial Sports Festival.

The launching ceremony was attended by nearly 1,200 cadres, civil servants, public employees, armed forces, youth union members, students, and workers from communes, towns, agencies, units, and schools in the district.

Vice Chairwoman of Hau Loc District People's Committee Vu Thi Ha delivered a speech launching the program.

At the ceremony, Hau Loc district leaders launched the "All people practice physical training following the example of great Uncle Ho" and the Olympic Running Day "For the health of all people" to the masses in the area. Highlighting the meaning and importance of daily physical training to continuously improve the physical fitness and health of all classes of people. At the same time, affirming that in recent years, the movement "All people practice physical training following the example of great Uncle Ho" has been promoted, the sports movement of Hau Loc district has developed widely from the grassroots level to the district level, attracting the regular participation of many classes of people in training with many diverse and rich sports.

Representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Hau Loc district presented souvenir flags to the participating teams.

After the launching ceremony, district leaders, delegates and more than 1,000 people representing all walks of life in the district participated in the 1 km long run.

The 29th Hau Loc District Cross Country Race in 2025 has the participation of 240 athletes from 29 delegations from 22 communes and towns; armed forces; 4 high schools and the district's Center for Continuing Education and Vocational Training.

The athletes competed fiercely in the two traditional races of the women's 3,000m and the men's 5,000m. According to the organizers, the individual and doubles results have improved significantly compared to previous years.

Leaders of Hau Loc district awarded medals to athletes who won first, second and third prizes in the women's 3,000m Cross Country event.

The Organizing Committee awarded gold, silver, bronze medals, certificates and prizes to the first, second and third prize winners for men and women; certificates and consolation prizes to individuals ranked from 4th to 10th in the men's and women's categories; and flags and prizes to the first, second and third prize winners for the entire delegation.

The tournament is also an opportunity for Hau Loc district to select the best faces to prepare to participate in the 29th Thanh Hoa Newspaper Cross Country Race - Running for community health in 2025.
