Nearly 500 million VND to organize the program "Accompanying women in the border areas"

Today, August 26, at Ba Tang Border Guard Station, Huong Hoa District, Ho Chi Minh City Women Entrepreneurs Association, Quang Tri Provincial Women's Union, Quang Tri Provincial Border Guard Command coordinated with local authorities to organize the program "Accompanying women in the border areas" in 2024.

At the program, the organizers presented civil works and livelihood models to families in difficult circumstances in Ba Tang commune, including: 14 livelihood models (goats, cows, pigs); 1 community well; 15 septic tanks; 100 gifts for members and women in especially difficult circumstances and 50 gifts for students in difficult circumstances.

On this occasion, the coordinating units visited and presented gifts to officers and soldiers of Ba Tang Border Post. The program cost nearly 500 million VND, connected and mobilized by the Ho Chi Minh City Women Entrepreneurs Association from officers and members of agencies and units.

The program "Accompanying women in border areas" was launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, aiming to promote the spirit of mutual love and support, mobilizing social resources to care for women's union members' families in difficult circumstances in border communes, including Quang Tri province.
