Northern region

The price of live pigs today (January 26, 2025) in the Northern region continues in a series of gloomy trading days. The price of live pigs here is fluctuating between 67,000 - 68,000 VND/kg. In particular, Lao Cai, Nam Dinh and Ninh Binh provinces are the localities selling live pigs at the lowest price in the region, at 67,000 VND/kg.

In general, last week, the price of live pigs witnessed a slight decrease, concentrated in some provinces and cities such as Hanoi, Thai Binh , Bac Giang, Hung Yen, Hai Duong... the price reaching 70,000 VND/kg no longer appeared compared to the previous week.

Central Highlands region

Similarly, the price of live pigs today (January 26, 2025) in the Central Highlands region also recorded no change compared to yesterday (January 25). Currently, the price of live pigs in this region fluctuates between 66,000 - 68,000 VND/kg.

Of which, the three provinces of Lam Dong, Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan are the localities with the highest live hog prices in the region, reaching 68,000 VND/kg. In contrast, the lowest transaction price of 66,000 VND/kg appeared in the two provinces of Binh Dinh and Khanh Hoa.

Last week, live pig prices recorded a slight decrease in Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Hue and Quang Nam provinces.

Southern region

Along with the above two regions, the price of live pigs in the Southern region today (January 26, 2025) has no notable adjustments.

The price of live pigs in this region still fluctuates between 67,000 and 69,000 VND/kg. Of which, Tay Ninh, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Long An, Dong Thap and Ca Mau are the provinces with the highest price of live pigs in the region, reaching 69,000 VND/kg.

On the other hand, Tra Vinh and Hau Giang have live pig prices reaching 67,000 VND/kg, the lowest in the region.

In general, the price of live pigs today (January 26, 2025) is quite stable and continues to be traded in the range of 66,000 - 69,000 VND/kg.
