The two collectives that were awarded were the People and cadres of Nhon Tan commune, An Nhon town (now An Nhon Tay commune, Gia Lai province) and the People and cadres of Vinh Quang commune, Vinh Thanh district (now Vinh Quang commune, Gia Lai province).
The emulation movement to build new rural areas in Vinh Quang commune has been widely deployed, creating positive changes. Many models and initiatives have been promoted, with timely commendation and replication of advanced examples. The movement has contributed to speeding up the progress and improving the effectiveness of the national target program on building new rural areas.
In Nhon Tan commune, after being recognized as meeting new rural standards in 2018, the locality continued to be selected to build advanced new rural areas in 2023. During the implementation process, the commune focused on propaganda and training on waste classification at source, enhancing the role of the people as subjects and the exemplary role of cadres and party members, and implementing well the mechanism of "People know, people discuss, people do, people check, people benefit".
Two individuals were awarded certificates of merit by the Prime Minister: Mr. Ho Dac Chuong - former Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Gia Lai province and Mr. Doan Van Diep - former Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Committee of Phuoc Quang commune, Tuy Phuoc district (now Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tuy Phuoc Bac commune, Gia Lai province).
On this occasion, the Government awarded the Emulation Flag to the People and cadres of Phuoc Hung commune, Tuy Phuoc district (now Tuy Phuoc Bac commune, Gia Lai province) for their outstanding achievements, leading the emulation movement to build new rural areas in the period 2021-2025.
It is known that Phuoc Hung commune was recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as meeting the advanced new rural standards in 2023. The locality has an average income per capita of nearly 67 million VND/year, built a "smart village" model in Bieu Chanh village and completed the criteria of a model new rural commune in terms of environmental landscape.
