Gia Lai issues Directive to strengthen twinning with ethnic minority areas

(GLO)- The Standing Committee of Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee has just issued Directive No. 03-CT/TU on strengthening twinning activities between localities, units and villages and hamlets in ethnic minority areas in the province.

Accordingly, Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front, organizations and relevant units continue to propagate, disseminate, raise awareness and responsibility about the purpose and meaning of twinning; identify this as an important, regular, long-term political task, requiring the active participation of the entire political system and all classes of people.

The content of twinning must be specific, practical, and close to real needs; associated with propaganda work, mobilizing people to implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies; raising vigilance against plots to divide the great national unity bloc; preserving and promoting cultural identity; effectively implementing socio -economic development programs, and sustainable poverty reduction. Contributing to strengthening the strength of great unity, promoting comprehensive development of ethnic minority areas, successfully implementing socio-economic goals, building a strong political system, ensuring national defense and security in the province.

The Provincial People's Committee develops plans and assigns twinning tasks in accordance with the conditions of each unit and locality; the Fatherland Front and organizations promote the mobilization of people and prestigious people to participate; grassroots Party committees assign responsible officials, review and unify effective support resources; the Propaganda Department and the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department coordinate to monitor, guide, inspect, periodically summarize, summarize and report on implementation results.
