Gia Lai: Vocational training for commune-level agricultural officials

(GLO)- On September 24, the Plant Cultivation and Plant Protection Station of Region 4 conducted professional training in the field of cultivation and plant protection for agricultural officers of 9 communes in the region.

Accordingly, delegates were informed of regulations on the responsibilities of the People's Committees at the commune level and specialized agencies under the People's Committees at the commune level in the field of cultivation and plant protection; regulations on state management of agricultural materials (agricultural plant varieties, fertilizers, pesticides); collection, transportation and treatment of used pesticide packaging.

Along with that, agricultural officers are also guided in developing and organizing the implementation of agricultural production plans; reporting production results; developing plans and implementing the work of converting ineffective crop structures; guiding the investigation, forecasting, and prevention of plant pests; synthesizing data and periodically reporting on the field of plant protection.
