Regarding fresh rice, according to the update from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of An Giang province, the price of Dai Thom 8 rice decreased by 100 VND, fluctuating at 6,400 - 6,600 VND; OM 5451 rice increased by 100 VND, fluctuating at 5,800 - 6,100 VND; IR 50404 rice price fluctuated at 5,400 - 5,600 VND/kg; OM 380 rice was at 6,600 - 6,700 VND/kg; OM 18 rice fluctuated at 6,500 - 6,700 VND/kg; Nhat rice was at 7,800 - 8,000 VND/kg; Nang Hoa 9 was at 9,200 VND/kg.

In many localities today, the volume is still small, the buying and selling transactions are still slow. In Can Tho , the Winter-Spring rice transactions are few, the price is stable but few people buy, traders mainly buy rice in advance. In Dong Thap, the fragrant Winter-Spring rice trend is decreasing, farmers offer to sell a lot of rice to be cut in the next 1-2 weeks, few transactions.

In Kien Giang, farmers offer stable rice prices but there are few buyers, rice trading is slow. In An Giang, new rice trading is slow, many traders have stopped buying. In Soc Trang , trading is stagnant, most traders have stopped buying.

Similar to rice, according to an update from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of An Giang province, currently, IR 504 raw rice increased by 100 VND, fluctuating at 7,800-7,900 VND/kg; OM 380 raw rice fluctuated at 7,450-7,600 VND/kg; 5451 raw rice fluctuated at 8,500-8,600 VND; OM 380 finished rice fluctuated at 8,800-9,000 VND/kg; IR 504 finished rice fluctuated at 9,500-9,700 VND/kg.

Regarding by-products, the prices of by-products fluctuate from 5,550 - 7,300 VND/kg. Currently, the price of broken rice fluctuates at 7,100 - 7,300 VND/kg; broken rice 3-4 fluctuates at 6,100 - 6,200; the price of dry bran fluctuates at 5,550 - 5,700 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

Recorded in localities today, the amount of rice arriving is low, buying and selling transactions are slow. In Lap Vo (Dong Thap), the amount of rice arriving is low, the warehouse price is stable compared to yesterday. In Sa Dec (Dong Thap), the amount of rice arriving is low, the price fluctuates slightly according to quality.

Sa Dec market canal (Dong Thap), sporadic transactions, warehouses buy and select rice, prices of all types of rice are temporarily stable. At An Cu (Cai Be, Tien Giang), supplies are low, transactions are slow, rice prices decrease depending on rice quality.

At retail markets, rice prices of all kinds remained unchanged compared to the beginning of the week. Currently, Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price of VND28,000/kg; regular rice fluctuates at VND15,000 - 16,000/kg; long-grain fragrant rice fluctuates at VND20,000 - 22,000/kg; Huong Lai rice 22,000/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice fluctuates at VND18,000 - 20,000/kg; Nang Hoa rice 22,000/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice 21,000/kg; common white rice 17,000/kg; Soc regular rice fluctuates at VND18,000/kg; Soc Thai rice 21,000/kg; Japanese rice 22,000/kg.

In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices today remained unchanged compared to yesterday. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), currently 5% standard rice is at 394 USD/ton; 25% broken rice is at 369 USD/ton; 100% broken rice is at 310 USD/ton.
