Gasoline prices increase continuously, oil prices decrease slightly

The Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance have just adjusted gasoline prices with an increase for gasoline and a slight decrease for oil, effective from 3:00 p.m. on February 20.

Accordingly, E5 RON 92 gasoline has a new price of 20,855 VND/liter, an increase of 257 VND/liter compared to the current price. After adjustment, gasoline prices E5 RON 92 is 476 VND/liter lower than RON 95-III gasoline. Similarly, gasoline RON 95-III New price is 21,331 VND/liter, an increase of 257 VND/liter.

The new price of 0.05S diesel is 19,063 VND/liter, down 10 VND/liter. Kerosene is 19,513 VND/liter, up 40 VND/liter compared to the current price; 180CST 3.5S fuel oil is adjusted to 17,596 VND/kg, down 183 VND/kg.

In this operating period, the joint ministries decided to continue not to set aside and not to use the petroleum price stabilization fund for E5 RON 92 gasoline, RON 95 gasoline, diesel oil, kerosene and fuel oil products.

Of which, gasoline products all tended to increase by nearly 1.5%, and slightly decreased with kerosene by 0.03%, diesel oil decreased by 0.34% and mazut oil decreased by 1.59%.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade said the time for petrol traders to adjust is at 3:00 p.m. today, February 20.

The Ministry said that in order to adjust gasoline prices, it will coordinate with relevant agencies to inspect and supervise the implementation of the responsibility of ensuring gasoline supply for the market by gasoline traders, and will strictly handle violations.

Thus, after three consecutive increases and two consecutive decreases, gasoline prices continued to extend their slight increase streak. Meanwhile, oil prices, after falling for two consecutive sessions and rising again in the previous period, have slightly decreased again this period, except for diesel.
