Life skills education and building healthy relationships

(CT) - Can Tho City Social Work Center has just coordinated with the City Youth and Children Center to organize a life skills education session with the theme "Skills to make friends and build healthy relationships" for a group of children in special circumstances being raised at the Center.

At the meeting, through illustrations, the reporter helped the children learn the concept and recognize close friends, good friends, healthy friendships; how to behave when being teased, bullied and how to protect themselves. At the same time, equipping them with knowledge and skills to communicate well with friends, teachers, adults, etc., forming good relationships, respecting those around them. The children were guided to practice teamwork, giving opinions, discussing common situations in life about building and maintaining harmonious friendships, without hurting each other.

According to the City Social Work Center, the activity is part of a series of activities on the model "Life skills education and career guidance for children in special circumstances" at the Center in 2025.
