On August 28, the Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak held a conference to summarize the 2024-2025 school year and deploy directions and tasks for the 2025-2026 school year for preschool education .
Director of the Department of Education and Training Le Thi Thanh Xuan attended and directed the Conference. Attending were Deputy Directors: Luu Tien Quang, Le Thi Kim Oanh and Nguyen Xuan Da.

Many encouraging results
In the 2024-2025 school year, the network of preschools in the province continues to be consolidated and expanded with 453 kindergartens (357 public schools, 96 private schools), 670 separate schools and 636 private independent preschools. The whole province has 126,333 children studying in 4,908 groups/classes.
100% of children attend school twice a day, nearly 94% of children have meals at school. Care and feeding activities are guaranteed to be safe and of high quality. The team of managers and teachers is more than 13,200 people; in the last school year alone, more than 5,000 were trained and provided with professional training. The application of information technology, digital transformation and socialization of education has been promoted, mobilizing many resources for investment in this level of education.

Besides, Dak Lak preschool education still faces many challenges: Some places lack facilities, the number of children per class in urban areas is high; the rate of mobilizing preschool children to attend class is low; the teaching staff does not meet the standards; the difference in education quality between regions still exists.
Speaking at the Conference, Ms. Le Thi Thanh Xuan - Director of the Department of Education and Training acknowledged the efforts of the team: "Preschool teachers are the ones who are under the most pressure, go to work the earliest, and leave the latest. They are mothers, doctors, and amateur actors, but they are still dedicated to teaching and caring for children to develop comprehensively and parents can work with peace of mind."

Put children's safety first
Implementing the tasks for the 2025-2026 school year, the Director of the Department of Education and Training requested preschools to synchronously implement care and education solutions, innovate teaching methods, and ensure absolute safety for children.
In particular, schools are not allowed to sign contracts to provide meals for children, but must directly organize and manage the kitchen to control food quality and hygiene and safety. Internal self-inspection and supervision must be strengthened to promptly detect and correct shortcomings in child care and nutrition.
Dak Lak Education Sector also aims to strengthen the school network, improve the quality of universal education for 5-year-old children, gradually move towards universal education for 3-4-year-old children; develop a team with sufficient quantity and strong expertise, meeting the requirements of innovation in the context of digital transformation and integration.
