At Hai Duong station, on January 24, about 800 passengers got off the station, equivalent to the number of passengers on the last working day of the 2024 Tet holiday and 3-4 times higher than normal days.

At the Hanoi – Hai Phong expressway interchange on National Highway 38B in Gia Loc district, from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., there are about 6,800 vehicles entering and 8,500 vehicles exiting the expressway. The number of vehicles entering and exiting the expressway is about 3 times higher than on weekdays and 2 times higher than on weekends.

Although the number of vehicles entering and leaving the highway has increased, the movement of vehicles has been relatively smooth, without any incidents. A representative of the management unit of the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway intersection on Highway 38B said that the number of passengers is expected to increase tonight and tomorrow morning because tomorrow is the official start of the 2025 Lunar New Year holiday.
