On July 19, according to a source from Dan Tri reporter, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province directed the Department of Home Affairs and the Department of Education and Training to implement the conclusion of the People's Committee of Bac Lieu province (old) regarding the content of the denunciation of the Department of Education and Training of Bac Lieu province (old) by a teacher.
These agencies are required to report to the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province on the implementation results in July.
Previously, on February 7, the People's Committee of the former Bac Lieu province (now Ca Mau province) decided to accept the petition of Mr. NVT (teacher of Bac Lieu High School) accusing the Department of Education and Training of Bac Lieu province of transferring him from Bac Lieu High School for the Gifted to work at Bac Lieu High School in violation of regulations in 2016.
Mr. T. said that the school had made incorrect professional assessments for two consecutive years (2013-2014 and 2014-2015), so he was ranked average. This was the reason Mr. T. was transferred to another job.
On June 27, the People's Committee of Bac Lieu province concluded that the Department of Education and Training transferred Mr. T. out of the specialized high school in violation of regulations.
Specifically, at that time, Mr. T. was rated excellent by the professional team of the specialized high school, but the principal downgraded him to average.
The principal of Bac Lieu High School for the Gifted (at the time of the accusation) showed signs of suppressing teachers and taking advantage of his position and power to commit acts against regulations, which is a violation of regulations on teachers' ethics.
In addition to the above accusation, the Provincial People's Committee also determined that in 2016, the Department of Education and Training transferred 2 teachers to Bac Lieu Specialized High School without passing the entrance exam and 1 teacher who taught from 2003-2011 without a secondary, college, or university degree in pedagogy (in 2011 he had a university degree in physical education and sports ; in 2016 he had a university degree in national security and defense) which was a correct accusation.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Lieu province assigned the Department of Home Affairs and the Department of Education and Training to preside over the review, clarify the responsibilities, nature, level of violations and impose disciplinary measures on relevant collectives and individuals.
