On August 26, Mr. Dao Xuan Thuy, Director of Chu Mom Ray National Park ( Quang Ngai province), said that the well project donated by comrade Tran Luu Quang has been put into use, helping the Ya Krei Forest Protection Management Station (QLBVR) have a stable source of clean water, no longer worrying about water shortages in the dry season.

According to Mr. Dao Xuan Thuy, Ya Krei Forest Management Station has 6 employees, managing more than 4,000 hectares of forest. For many years, the station's staff have had a difficult life due to a frequent lack of water during the dry season.

In May 2024, while holding the position of Deputy Prime Minister , comrade Tran Luu Quang and his delegation visited and inspected forest protection and fire prevention and fighting work in the dry season in Chu Mom Ray National Park and Ya Krei Forest Protection Station (Mo Rai commune).

This is a forest protection station located in a remote area, with many difficult and deprived conditions, especially the lack of clean water in the dry season. Knowing about the lack of water for daily life of the forest protection force in the dry season, comrade Tran Luu Quang donated a solar-powered well to the station.

According to Mr. Dao Xuan Thuy, the well was constructed in a location with hard, rocky ground, had to be drilled 120m deep, and installed with a solar-powered system. The project was completed and put into use from August 2024. After the first dry season, the well provided enough water for the station's forest rangers, and surrounding households also had access to the water source.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga, a forest ranger at Ya Krei Forest Protection Station, said that in the past, during the dry season, the station often lacked water for daily use. Station staff had to go to the stream to carry water cans for use, which was very difficult. Since the well was drilled, the station no longer had to struggle with water shortages, helping forest rangers feel secure in their work.
