Crowds of people and tourists flocked to Man Thai beach (Son Tra district, Da Nang city) early in the morning to join SUP, watch the sunrise and explore the most beautiful beach in the world.

Stand up paddle boarding is a stand up paddle sport that started appearing at Man Thai beach (Son Tra district) in 2019.
However, it was not until 2021, after the Covid-19 pandemic ended, that the SUP movement returned and has been active until now.
According to the reporter's records, since 5am, many people, especially young people, have gathered at Man Thai beach, Son Tra district, Da Nang city to prepare to paddle board to watch the sunrise in this area.
With its novelty and appeal, this outdoor water sport is gradually becoming more popular, along with the SUP rental service at Man Thai beach is also flourishing.
To ensure safety before going into the sea, everyone must wear a life jacket and be instructed by staff on basic SUP paddling skills and how to handle situations when falling into the sea.
Man Thai beach becomes more vibrant and attracts more tourists thanks to SUP activities.
According to Nguyen Ha Quyen, owner of a sup rental shop at Man Thai beach, the entire area has been quite bustling with sup paddling activities in recent years. On weekends or holidays, the number of sups operating is up to 400-500.
“Because most people who rent SUP don’t know how to swim. So before departure, visitors will be instructed on basic skills and required to wear life jackets to ensure safety. On weekdays, the price per person is 75,000 VND to experience SUP rowing to watch the sunrise, and on Saturdays and Sundays it is a little higher,” Ha Quyen added.
A popular destination for sup paddling is Hon Sup, about 1-2km from shore, where visitors can swim and watch the sunrise.
Nguyen Minh Ngan (Da Nang) said: "I have been participating in this SUP sport for almost a year. At first, I was a bit scared, but once I got used to it, I felt very comfortable and it helped me reduce stress in life."
SUP usually starts at 5am and ends at 7am, the ideal time to watch the sunrise.
Soaking in the cool, clear water and watching the city in the early morning sun, visitors will have unforgettable experiences when participating in sup rowing at Man Thai beach.
