Hanoi closed the road from 12 noon on August 27 to serve the preliminary review of A80

From 12:00 on August 27 to 2:00 on August 28, 2025, the central routes of Ba Dinh area (Hanoi) and many neighboring streets will be completely banned, temporarily banned or restricted from traffic.

The ban applies to all vehicles (except vehicles with security badges and vehicles serving the Anniversary). The list includes many important routes such as: Hoang Hoa Tham, Thuy Khue (from Hung Vuong to Van Cao), Quan Thanh, Phan Dinh Phung, Hung Vuong, Hoang Dieu, Dien Bien Phu, Kim Ma, Lieu Giai, Van Cao, Le Duan, Trang Thi, Hang Khay, Trang Tien, Ly Thai To, Ngo Quyen, Giang Vo, Lang Ha, Lang (to Tran Duy Hung) ... and many streets around Ba Dinh Square.

Areas within Beltway I (except for strictly prohibited routes): Temporarily ban all vehicles, except priority vehicles, official vehicles, buses, garbage collection vehicles, emergency response vehicles and vehicles serving ceremonies.

Area from Beltway I to Beltway II: Temporarily ban trucks from 1.5 tons, passenger cars from 16 seats or more (except priority vehicles and vehicles serving holidays).

In Beltway II to Beltway III: Restrict private cars, motorbikes and commercial transport vehicles under 16 seats.

Routes from Ring Road III to the suburbs (National Highway 32, Thang Long Avenue, National Highway 6, National Highway 18, Vo Nguyen Giap...): It is recommended to limit vehicles, except for buses, official vehicles, and vehicles serving ceremonies.

The city police recommend that people prioritize using public transport, especially urban railway lines No. 2A (Cat Linh - Ha Dong) and No. 3.1 (Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station). When cheering in the central area, people should stand on the sidewalk, not crowd onto the road to avoid obstructing the parades; leave in order, follow the instructions of the authorities; when encountering a priority vehicle, quickly reduce speed, stay close to the right of way, and absolutely give way.

Hanoi police emphasized that voluntary compliance with regulations will contribute to ensuring safety and security, while creating conditions for the successful organization of the country's important anniversary.
