Hanoi: Adjusting traffic flow time on August 21 and 22

On August 20, Hanoi City Police issued a notice on traffic diversion to serve the activities celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Previously, on August 13, Hanoi City Police issued a notice on traffic diversion to serve the activities of the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and was publicly announced on the Hanoi City Police Electronic Information Portal and mass media for all people to know.

However, on August 21, as planned, the Organizing Committee of the Anniversary Ceremony will conduct the first General Practice. To ensure security and safety for this activity, Hanoi City Police announced traffic diversion and organized directions for vehicles as follows:

Road closure, temporary closure and vehicle restriction time on August 21, 2025: Starting from 11:30 a.m. on August 21, 2025 to 3:00 a.m. on August 22, 2025 (5:30 a.m. earlier than the previous announcement).

Hanoi City Police also noted: During the Celebration, the time of banning, temporary banning and restricting traffic on some routes may change and be adjusted to ensure compliance with the program of the Celebration Organizing Committee. People are requested to regularly update information on the Website: https://a80.hanoi.gov.vn, and other official media before participating in the Celebration activities.

Hanoi City Police informs people and traffic participants to know, comply, choose appropriate travel routes and support the police force to complete its tasks; regularly monitor and update information related to the organization of the Anniversary Ceremony to proactively move appropriately and prevent traffic jams.
