Hanoi: No cultural subjects right after the opening ceremony

According to Mr. Cuong, schools at all levels in Hanoi will hold the opening ceremony of the new school year on the morning of September 5, together with students from schools nationwide to ensure a joyful atmosphere, truly a national festival of sending children to school.

This year's opening ceremony is special because at exactly 8:00 a.m., schools will broadcast the 80th Anniversary Celebration and Opening Ceremony of the Ministry of Education and Training .

Therefore, schools can gather students from 7 to 8 o'clock to have special activities such as welcoming students of grades 1, 6, and 10; the principal giving a congratulatory speech, beating the drum to open the school year... All special school activities will end before 8 o'clock to continue broadcasting the program of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Teachers and students of Nguyen Sieu Secondary and High School in an exchange program with singer Tung Duong to prepare for the new school year.

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training will provide guidance for schools to ensure flexibility and suitability to the unpredictable weather conditions. The Ministry of Education and Training's program lasts 1.5 hours, so young students can watch the program on TV screens in their classrooms.

Also according to the Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, right after the opening ceremony, the first class of schools will not rush to teach cultural subjects but will teach students about fire prevention skills, accident prevention, and learning about Hanoi culture...

Issues related to school security, safety, school violence, illegal racing, law enforcement, etc. were also raised, requiring schools to pay attention and have solutions to propagate to all students.

Regarding the problem of teacher shortage, Hanoi is currently preparing to recruit nearly 1,000 teachers for schools at all levels. In particular, subjects such as Music, Fine Arts... need to have a policy to invite artists and singers to teach in schools to create a "fresh breeze" and solve the problem of teacher shortage .
