Hanoi honors 100 excellent graduates of 2024

The recognition and honoring of valedictorians aims to promptly encourage and motivate the younger generations, demonstrating the regular and deep concern of Hanoi City for the cause of education and training.

According to information from the Hanoi Youth Union, to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024), Hanoi will organize a ceremony to honor 100 excellent valedictorians graduating from universities and academies in the city. The event will be held at 8:00 p.m. on October 3, at the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam (Hanoi).

The valedictorians honored are students who graduated from universities and academies with impressive achievements in studying and training. Many valedictorians are party members, have achieved the title of “5 Good Students” at school and city levels, have scientific research works, topics and initiatives that have won domestic and international awards.

2024 is the 22nd year that Hanoi has organized a ceremony to honor outstanding valedictorians graduating from universities and academies in the city. To date, 2,256 valedictorians have been honored and received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee.

The awarding of the title is meant to fuel the spirit of dedication and efforts of the young generation, and at the same time to attract, utilize talents and develop high-quality human resources of Hanoi, contributing to the overall development of the capital and the country.

The recognition and honoring of valedictorians also aims to encourage and motivate the younger generations in a timely manner, demonstrating the constant and deep concern of Hanoi City for the cause of education and training.

As planned, on the evening of October 2, the Hanoi Youth Union will hold a ceremony to register the golden book of 100 excellent valedictorians graduating from universities and academies in the city in 2024.

On the evening of October 3, the ceremony to honor 100 excellent valedictorians of 2024 took place; the incense offering ceremony at Thai Hoc House; an art program and a reportage on the tradition of studiousness and respect for talents of Hanoi City.
