Ha Tinh is looking for excellent hotel receptionists in 2023

The "Hotel Receptionist 2023" contest was organized by the Ha Tinh Tourism Association and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province, to honor and improve the quality of service staff at accommodation establishments.

According to Plan No. 14/KH-HHDL-SVHTTDL, dated October 25, 2023 of Ha Tinh Tourism Association and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province, the "Hotel Receptionist 2023" contest is expected to be held on November 6-7, in Ha Tinh city.

Participants are receptionists at accommodation facilities across the province, aged 18-45.

The contest is divided into 2 groups, group A is for contestants from 2-star accommodation establishments or lower; group B is for contestants from 3-star accommodation establishments or higher (including establishments built to 3-star standards or higher but not yet ranked).

Candidates from hotels rated 3 stars or higher are required to have a minimum level of English communication skills within their scope of work.

In the preliminary round, candidates will have to answer 2 questions including introducing their accommodation and career theory. The final round is for candidates who pass the preliminary round, including 3 contents: situational behavior, talent and presentation in English (for candidates of group B).

The winners of the contest will be sent by the organizing committee to participate in the reception competition in inter-provincial tourist accommodation establishments of Thanh Hoa - Nghe An - Ha Tinh, scheduled to be held in Nghe An at the end of November 2023.

The Organizing Committee will receive applications from candidates until November 1, 2023. Applications should be sent to the Tourism Management Department, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Tinh: No. 18, Xo Viet Nghe Tinh Avenue (Ha Tinh City), and email address: nguyencamanhsvhttdl@gmail.com.

The “Hotel Receptionist 2023” contest aims to honor the hotel receptionist profession; at the same time, it is an opportunity to objectively and comprehensively evaluate the quality of the reception team as well as professional human resources working at accommodation establishments across the province; thereby finding directions for training and supporting tourism human resources.

The contest is also a playground for hotel receptionists across the province to have the opportunity to exchange, share and learn from each other. Thereby, they can improve their profession, update their knowledge, and improve their skills in order to build a professional and friendly image of the reception team at accommodation establishments across the province.
