In recent days, everywhere in Ha Tinh , we can see groups of electricity workers working hard to fix problems caused by storm No. 10. The work of overcoming the consequences is calculated hourly with the determination to complete and soon restore 100% of the power supply to the people, without interrupting production and business. After the storm, the weather in Ha Tinh was hot and sunny, while the power grid infrastructure suffered major damage, spread over a large area, making the recovery work extremely difficult and stressful.
The communes and wards in the South of Ha Tinh (under the Ky Anh Regional Power Management Team) were the most affected after storm No. 10. Hundreds of medium voltage poles were knocked down, broken, tilted, and cracked; thousands of wires were cut, causing power outages in the entire area. In the photo: The Ky Anh Regional Power Management Team coordinated with the Son La Power Shock Team to deploy a construction plan to fix the power grid problem in Ky Khang commune.
In addition to the local forces, the shock troops mobilized by Ha Tinh Electricity, and support forces from Son La and Lai Chau provinces were sent with more than 500 people to speed up the progress.
The teams erected temporary poles to promptly restore power to people and production areas.
Deputy Director of Northern Power Corporation Hoang Duc Thanh and Deputy Director of Ha Tinh Power Corporation Tran Duc Son directed the repair work in Ky Khang commune; Director of Ha Tinh Power Corporation Do Tien Hung inspected the situation at Thach Linh 110kV substation (Thanh Sen ward).
According to Mr. Ho The Vinh - Deputy Head of the Ky Anh Regional Power Management Team, in the days after the storm, the area returned to hot and very harsh weather. However, with dedication and responsibility, all workers and staff were determined to overcome difficulties to soon complete the work of overcoming the consequences and connecting electricity to the people. According to statistics, by the morning of October 2, 40% of customers in the area managed by the unit (out of nearly 70,000 customers) had been restored to electricity.
The sunburned, sweaty but undaunted faces of the orange-shirted soldiers on the front line of overcoming the consequences of natural disasters.
Not only is it hot, the recovery work is also difficult because of the complex terrain, many places are still flooded. Electricity workers are trying to fix the problem in Duc Tho commune.
The orange-shirted soldiers sometimes wade in the water, sometimes transform into "spider-men" on high nets...
The sunnier the day, the brighter the orange shirts. They are taking advantage of every hour and every minute to reconnect the electricity to the people, fulfilling their mission: ensuring the continuous flow of electricity, contributing to maintaining the rhythm of life and production for the community.
