
Mr. Pham Van Phuc, Deputy Head of Lao Cai Border Gate Customs Team, said that with the spirit of providing maximum support for businesses' import and export activities, the unit arranged civil servants to be on duty to ensure customs clearance of goods during the 4-day National Day holiday on September 2, as usual.

According to records, during this year's holiday, the number of vehicles importing and exporting goods has increased compared to last year, with over 500 vehicles completing customs clearance procedures each day.
Thus, during the 4-day holiday, 2,115 cargo vehicles cleared customs, of which 230 were exported and 1,885 were imported.

Export goods are mainly traditional products, including: dragon fruit, watermelon, banana, durian, cassava, coffee, etc. Import goods are mainly chemicals, fertilizers of all kinds, iron and steel and iron and steel products, production machines and mechanical equipment, etc.

Lao Cai Border Gate Customs also recorded state budget revenue from import-export activities during the 4-day holiday through Kim Thanh International Road Border Gate No. II reaching over 11 billion VND.
