In recent times, the unit has promoted administrative procedure reform, applied information technology and modern equipment in professional work, contributing to customs modernization, facilitating trade, promoting import and export and encouraging businesses to voluntarily comply with the law.

From the beginning of 2025 to now, Thai Nguyen Customs has received and processed 230,376 customs declarations, with a total import-export turnover of 35.35 billion USD; budget revenue reached 2,114 billion VND, equal to 114% over the same period, equivalent to 72% of the year's assigned target.

At the Conference, businesses were introduced to a number of new documents related to customs activities, such as: Law on Value Added Tax; tax reduction policy in the last 6 months of 2025 and 2026; artificial intelligence application software in import and export.

This is also an opportunity for Thai Nguyen Customs to share and resolve problems of the business community in carrying out customs procedures and goods clearance; at the same time, to receive opinions to improve management efficiency, improve business processes and recommend policy adjustments, creating more favorable conditions for import and export activities.
