Two young men "passed the checkpoint" to measure alcohol concentration, hit a police officer

On the morning of July 13, Ha Tinh Provincial Police informed that Ha Tinh City Police are being assigned to investigate and handle two young men who rode a motorbike and seriously injured a traffic police officer.

According to the initial investigation, at about 7:20 p.m. on July 12, the working group of the National Highway 1A Traffic Police Team (Traffic Police Department of Ha Tinh Provincial Police) was on duty to handle violations of alcohol and drug concentrations on Tran Phu Street (in Thach Trung Commune, Ha Tinh City).

Suddenly, Duong Nhat Hoang (17 years old) drove a motorbike carrying Nguyen Van Dai (17 years old, also residing in Huong Son district, Ha Tinh) at high speed, without wearing a helmet, straight into the checkpoint.

When discovered, Captain Hoang Hung Cuong tried to avoid but was too late.

The strong collision caused Captain Cuong and the two young men to fall onto the road. The motorbike slid about 3 meters, creating a trail of fire before flying to the side of the road.

Captain Cuong was taken to Ha Tinh General Hospital by his teammates for emergency treatment. Subject Duong Nhat Hoang was also injured and had to be taken to the emergency room, while Nguyen Van Dai, who was sitting in the back, suffered scratches.
