On November 28, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province said it had sent a document to the Department of Construction, the Management Board of Van Phong Economic Zone and localities to urgently inspect and strictly handle construction works that violate construction order.

For these violating constructions, most of them have paid administrative fines but have not yet remedied the consequences.

Previously, in August 2023, the Standing Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council requested: "For constructions that exceed the number of floors, violate planning, or are not in accordance with construction permits... direct the Department of Construction to establish an inspection team to inspect and strictly handle new projects and construction works to prevent recurrence".
