The program is jointly implemented by Shinhan Future's Lab Vietnam and Shinhan Future's Lab Korea, under the auspices of Shinhan Financial Group, Korean Banks Association and Korea Fintech Support Center.
The program is also honored to receive the companionship and shared orientation from the Financial Services Commission of Korea (FSC) and the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV), along with the support of the Korean Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, the Korea Small and Medium Enterprise and Startup Support Agency (KOSME) and the National Information Technology Industry Promotion Agency of Korea (NIPA).
With the mission of connecting and promoting business development for potential startups, Shinhan Global X-Change 2025 was held in Vietnam for the first time, affirming the role of Vietnam as a gateway for Korean startups to expand into the Southeast Asian market. During 4 days, the program brought 10 excellent Korean startups to Ho Chi Minh City to participate in business networking activities and seek strategic cooperation opportunities.
The program opens on September 16, 2025, when startups learn about the Shinhan Finance ecosystem in Vietnam and grasp the program's orientation.
September 17, 2025, Business Tour activities took startups to visit the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA) and the Korea Small and Medium Enterprise and Startup Support Agency (KOSME), and attended a seminar on international fundraising experience (Overseas IR).
The highlight of the day was the Business Matching sessions, where 10 Korean startups met with more than 20 partners from Shinhan Financial Group, along with many multi-sector businesses such as retail, services, technology, and manufacturing to seek strategic cooperation opportunities.
On September 18, 2025, the key event " Demo Day " was held at the Headquarters of Shinhan Bank Vietnam Limited with the participation of Mr. Vo Minh Tuan - Director of the State Bank of Vietnam, Region II Branch and Mr. Kim Dong Hwan - Director of Digital Financial Policy, Financial Services Commission of Korea (FSC), ... and nearly 200 guests, including representatives from the Shinhan Financial Group ecosystem (Shinhan Financial Group - SFG), multi-sector enterprises, investment funds, and innovation organizations.
At Demo Day, 10 Korean startups introduced breakthrough solutions in various fields such as fintech, insurtech, edtech, AI and creative technology. The event also witnessed the signing of MOUs between startups and partners in Vietnam:
- Startup Team Zerocode and partner Creatory, TeamZerocode with Aness translation solution was deployed for the first time in Vietnam at the Vietnam Web Summit event organized by Creatory.
- Startup YesFuture and partner Global Job Center aim to build a legal support system, creating favorable conditions for studying abroad and working for Vietnamese students.
In addition, the networking activities at the event created an open space for connection between Shinhan leaders, management agencies, investment funds and the startup community. The event not only helped startups expand their networks but also laid the foundation for long-term cooperation, contributing to promoting innovation and digital economic development in Vietnam and the region.

The program ended on September 19, 2025, startups had an exchange and connection with the technology community in Vietnam at the event "Vietnam Web Summit", opening up many valuable cooperation opportunities in the future.
