Naturally attractive

- Over the past 3 years, our country's tourism has had a new momentum. Improvements in immigration procedures have made it easier and quicker for tourists to enter our country. The tourism picture has become less fragmented from central to local levels. And adding to the diversity are short clips of our country's cuisine, nature, and culture.

- Why do clips of Western tourists-cum-content creators attract so much attention?

- In terms of cuisine , they are gourmets. Whether they come from America, Europe, Korea, Japan..., they all crave Vietnamese dishes. And especially, those unforgettable delicacies are mostly not available in fancy restaurants. Content creators search in alleys, in ordinary restaurants, creating endless excitement. Their stories of cuisine, culture, and life have a strong impact on the minds of their people. And so, many others have packed their backpacks and hit the road.

- In previous years, the success of Thai tourism was considered a model. But now, have there been any new changes?

- Due to unpredictable fluctuations, Thai tourism is showing signs of running out of steam. They will eventually find a way to overcome it. On a macro level, competition always requires systematic strategies expressed in policies. In real life, the attraction of Vietnamese tourism comes from its natural charm.
