Buddha's robe flowers add brilliant yellow color to Bao Loc spring

In the 1950s, the French brought many plant varieties from other colonies to the B'lao region (present-day Bao Loc) and Di Linh for planting, including the golden phoenix, also known as the Buddha's robe.

The tree is planted in many areas of Bao Loc and Di Linh, but the most beautiful place that attracts many photographers to take pictures is Bat Nha monastery in Dam B'ri commune.

From Bao Loc city, visitors go towards Dam B'ri waterfall about 15km, looking on the left hand side, they will see Bat Nha monastery located on a hill about 25ha wide.

This woody plant is also called Buddha's robe. After 5 years, the plant will grow tall and can produce bright yellow flowers, usually blooming in spring, late January early February.
