Complete pouring concrete for Thong Nhat bridge deck by the end of October 2025

(DN)- On September 17, the representative of the joint venture contractor for the Bien Hoa City Central Axis Road Project, Tran Bien Ward (section from Vo Thi Sau Street to Dang Van Tron Street) said: Regarding the concrete pouring work of Thong Nhat Bridge deck, the most important item of the project is expected to be completed by the end of October 2025.

Previously, at the end of August, the construction units completed the installation of 168 girders of 14 spans of Thong Nhat Bridge. After completing the girder installation, the units deployed concrete pouring and have so far poured concrete for 14/28 bridge decks. With the remaining volume, the construction is expected to be completed by the end of October 2025.

According to the joint venture contractor, after completing the concrete pouring of the bridge deck, the construction units will deploy the finishing step of Thong Nhat Bridge. The time will last more than 1 month.

The Bien Hoa City Central Axis Road Project has a total length of more than 5.4km, divided into 2 branches including: Branch 1, starting point intersecting with Vo Thi Sau Street, ending point intersecting with Dang Van Tron Street at An Hao Bridge intersection, more than 3.7km long; Branch 2, starting point at the roundabout intersecting with Branch 1 at Cu Lao Hiep Hoa, ending point intersecting with Dang Van Tron Street at the intersection of Buu Hoa Bridge, more than 1.7km long. In which, Thong Nhat Bridge is the most important project. According to the design, Thong Nhat Bridge has a scale of 6-10 lanes, width of 45-95m, length of about 765m, of which the main bridge is 559m long.

For the entire Bien Hoa City Central Axis Road Project, contractors are also focusing on speeding up the construction progress of items with the goal of opening this project to traffic by the end of 2025.
