The Hanoi Red Cross Society continues to organize first aid points to support people and tourists attending the grand ceremony celebrating the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (abbreviated as A80).

Implementing the Plan of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross , the Hanoi Red Cross has organized first aid support points to prevent accidents and injuries when gathering in large crowds to support people participating in the A80 ceremony on the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station metro line at the preliminary rehearsal (August 27). Currently, the Hanoi Red Cross is focusing on deploying work to serve the rehearsal (August 30) and the official ceremony (September 2).

At the first aid point, the Hanoi Red Cross Society performs initial first aid activities for victims, coordinates and helps transport victims to medical facilities (when needed). Along with that, it supports common medicines for residents and tourists when necessary; organizes the distribution of water, milk, medical supplies...

To implement support activities at these first aid points better and more effectively, the Hanoi Red Cross Society calls on agencies, units, businesses, organizations, individuals, philanthropists, all classes of people and all cadres, members, youth, and volunteers to join hands with the Society to have operating funds and support some necessities for people and passengers coming to the capital on the occasion of the A80 festival. The Hanoi Red Cross Society commits to be open, transparent, and use the funding for the right purposes.
