In this morning's exam, candidates will take 2 optional exams if studying under the new 2018 General Education Program, while candidates studying under the 2006 General Education Program will take 1 of 2 combined exams: Natural Sciences or Social Sciences.

The duration of each subject in the optional exam and the combined exam is 50 minutes. The next period between two subjects is 5 minutes, during which time the candidate will have to submit the test and prepare for the next subject.

For the Geography exam, independent candidates studying under the old 2006 General Education Program will be allowed to bring the Vietnam Geography Atlas into the exam room, while candidates studying under the new 2018 General Education Program will not be allowed to bring this document into the exam room.

According to the Department of Education and Training, on the second day of the exam, the Provincial High School Graduation Exam Steering Committee directed the exam sites to continue to strengthen the absolute safety of the exam, including ensuring traffic safety, making the travel process easier for candidates and parents.

In particular, the examination sites continue to tighten examination room discipline, absolutely not allowing candidates to bring into the examination room devices such as smartphones, devices used to cheat in the exam. The examination site leaders closely follow the instructions and examination regulations so that teachers can properly implement the examination organization process and examination supervision work.
