
The film "Red Rain" reflects the 81-day and night battle of our army and people at Quang Tri Citadel in 1972, produced by the People's Army Cinema Studio. Released nationwide from August 21, the film attracted special attention from a large audience nationwide.
As of the afternoon of September 10, 2025, "Red Rain" had a revenue of over 587 billion VND nationwide, setting a record for the highest-grossing Vietnamese film of all time, up to the present time.
In Ha Tinh , the film was shown only at CGV Vincom Ha Tinh cinema (Thanh Sen ward). According to Mr. Nguyen Tri Hung - Director of CGV Vincom Ha Tinh cinema, as of noon on September 10, the film "Red Rain" had sold 50,000 tickets, earning 4 billion VND in revenue. This is a record number for a small-scale cinema complex like Ha Tinh. With 4 screening rooms, an average of 150 seats/room, to meet the needs of the audience, there were times when CGV Vincom Ha Tinh cinema arranged 20 screenings/day. At peak times, the cinema served 5,000 moviegoers a day.

Also at the CGV Vincom Ha Tinh cinema complex, "Red Rain" has far surpassed the previous record-breaking Vietnamese film "Mai" with a total of 35,000 tickets sold. Currently, "Red Rain" is still attracting audiences to cinemas nationwide, including Ha Tinh.
According to the "Red Rain" movie schedule of CGV Vincom Ha Tinh theater, from now until the weekend, the movie will still be given priority to maintain 17 - 22 showings/day.
