Hue: Model route deploys environmentally friendly integrated BTS stations

VHO - With the orientation of developing telecommunications associated with landscape protection, public health and sustainable tourism development, Hue city has been implementing an environmentally friendly integrated BTS station system.

On the afternoon of July 29, the Department of Science and Technology of Hue city organized the announcement of a model route implementing environmentally friendly integrated BTS stations in the area.

By 2025, Hue city has deployed about 50 BTS stations concentrated in the central area and tourist attractions such as: attractions in the Hue Monuments Complex, tourist routes and areas along the Perfume River.

In particular, Le Loi Street along the southern bank of the Huong River has become a model street with 100% of BTS stations designed synchronously in the form of lampposts in harmony with the urban architecture.

Not only providing 4G and 5G coverage, these stations also integrate modern amenities: lighting systems, 360-degree security cameras, and free wifi to serve residents and tourists.

According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Permanent Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee, the model of environmentally friendly integrated BTS stations installed on main streets and tourist attractions will well meet the needs of people and the overall development of the city.

In the coming time, the locality aims to expand and complete the system of environmentally friendly integrated BTS stations to about 250 to 300 stations. At the same time, this model will be expanded to the routes in Thuan Hoa, Phu Xuan, Vy Da, Kim Long, An Cuu wards...; in the central areas of wards/communes, historical sites, tourist areas...

Thereby, contributing to completing 100% 5G coverage in Hue city, helping people and tourists easily access information, develop tourism, and local socio -economy.

On this occasion, relevant units also signed a commitment to implement the targets on digital infrastructure development according to Resolution 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo, in order to commit to completing the targets on digital infrastructure development in Hue city.
