On May 23, the Office of the People's Committee of Da Nang City announced that the Chairman of the People's Committee of the city has just issued a document assigning the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to coordinate with the Department of Justice, Department of Planning and Investment, Department of Construction, Department of Finance, People's Committees of districts to carry out the request of the Office of the Investigation Police Agency (CSDT) of the Ministry of Public Security regarding the activities of companies related to Phan Van Anh Vu (aka Vu Nhom).
Previously, on May 9, the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency issued Official Dispatch No. 2030/C01-P4 to the People's Committee of Da Nang City regarding the cancellation of the suspension of asset transactions and ensuring the normal operation of companies related to Phan Van Anh Vu.
According to the Investigation Police Agency (Ministry of Public Security), in 2018, this agency accepted and investigated the cases of "Intentionally revealing state secrets", "Tax evasion", "Abusing position and power while performing official duties", "Violating regulations on management and use of state assets causing loss and waste" and "Violating regulations on land management" related to Phan Van Anh Vu that occurred in Da Nang City.

To serve the investigation requirements of the above cases, ensure the recovery of State assets and execution of judgments, the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency has seized assets in Da Nang City related to four companies: Construction Joint Stock Company 79, Construction Joint Stock Company Bac Nam 79, IVC Company Limited and Nhat Gia Phuc Joint Stock Company.
On April 20, the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency received a request from this company to cancel the suspension of asset transactions and freeze bank accounts to ensure the company's normal operations in Da Nang.
According to the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency, to date all cases related to Phan Van Anh Vu have been brought to trial and the verdicts have come into legal effect.
The judgments only declared the continuation of the Order of seizure of 9 assets, which are land use rights, house ownership rights and other assets attached to the above-mentioned land, and did not declare the suspension of asset transactions or the freezing of bank accounts of Construction Joint Stock Company 79, Bac Nam 79 Construction Joint Stock Company, IVC Company Limited and Nhat Gia Phuc Joint Stock Company to serve the execution of the judgment.
Therefore, the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency requested the People's Committee of Da Nang City to direct relevant departments, branches and units, based on their assigned functions and tasks, to resolve the requests of these four companies in accordance with the provisions of law to ensure the legitimate rights and interests of shareholders, capital contributors and normal operations of the enterprise.
