Krong Pac District (Dak Lak) is ready for the 2nd Durian Festival

The 2nd Krong Pac Durian Festival in 2024, taking place from August 31 to September 2, includes 12 main activities. With the active and urgent preparation of relevant units, up to now, the activities for the festival have been taking place on schedule. One of the main activities is the Opening Ceremony (on the evening of August 31) which is also rushing to complete the final stages.

Ms. Ngo Thi Minh Trinh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Krong Pac district, Dak Lak province, spoke at the press conference.

According to People's Artist Nguyen Minh Thong, the program director, after the opening ceremony is an art program with the participation of more than 400 artists. Through the form of traditional and modern stage performance, the message about the potential land of Krong Pac will be conveyed. "The program is currently being implemented and continues to be completed. On the 25th and 26th, the mass block will be combined at the big stage of Tan An Lake. Then on the 27th, all professional and mass blocks will be combined to ensure the preliminary rehearsal is on the 29th and the final rehearsal is on the 30th."

In this Krong Pac Durian Festival, many experiential activities for locals and tourists are expanded in scale such as: Street Festival, Cross-country race for community health, Cultural and culinary festival of ethnic groups... Among them, the artistic water music performance is highly anticipated by many people.

Farmers of Krong Pac district, Dak Lak province are proud to be the subject of the festival.

Mr. Tran Anh Kha, Director of Tran Anh Co., Ltd., the sponsor and implementer of the water music show, said that the organizers spend 60 minutes each night, during the festival days, to perform a music show combined with water to create colorful sound and visual effects: "Within 60 minutes divided into many chapters, using songs from Vietnam and Krong Pac district on this music background, we will perform water music with very modern 3D, 2D technology, high-frequency laser lights will be able to project the festival's logos and slogans combined with digital technology."

Tourists participate in the experience and enjoy durian in the garden.
